NOVEMBER 2008:
- The property in discussion has received special consideration from the York Region for a 12 month deferral. The purpose of this deferral is to allow the owner to file a site plan that will take into account new height consideration, investigate private water and sewage treatment plant facilities, and develop an innovative built form to support our concept of an eco-friendly, health and wellness community.
- An extensive market analysis report has been finalized and already submitted to the town. The report is identifying potential uses, their size and the holistic integration of all the project’s components.
- The site plan and renderings were presented to the Planning Department of the Town of Markham in early November 2008.
- The project has immediate water and sewage allocation for all the non-residential components. Municipal services will be available for the residential component in the next 4-5 years.
