The family unit and multi-generational living is a critical part of a holistic, healthy lifestyle. At Cornell Gates, there will be multi-generational, family living, but residents will still have access to all of the privacy and services they need.

As the "Baby Boom" generation ages, there will be an increasing need for high-end, mature, assisted living facilities. We have integrated such a facility into Cornell Gates.

It is our belief that as one gets older, they should not be segregated but rather incorporated and integrated in a development where the entire family can be together and yet, have the privacy that each generation needs at the same time.

A set number of units will be allocated for those who live an active, mature lifestyle. These units will permit them to be independent and separate from their immediate family (i.e. living in a separate unit/tower), and still get the care they may need, and yet still be only walking distance to their children and grandchildren.
